David Borzain, Maria Szewczyk, Barbara Puorro and Karen Morgan each won a trip to Aruba as the grand prize winners of Beazley Co.’s “Warm Breeze & Cool Cash Sweepstakes.” Agents earned entries into the contest for listings, sales and New England Home Loans mortgage applications obtained during the first quarter. The four agents each won a five-day trip for two to the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino in Aruba.

Agents in 20 Beazley offices across the state qualified for the contest, submitting hundreds of entries. The drawing was held at the company’s annual Awards Breakfast in April. Over $2,000 in cash prizes also were given out before the grand prize drawings took place.

Borzain, from Beazley’s Old Saybrook office, won in the sales category; Puorro from the Middletown office, and Szewczyk, from the Old Saybrook office, won in the listings category; and Morgan, from the New Haven office, won in the New England Home Loans mortgage category

Also at Beazley, Patricia Reed has been named director of relocation and referral services.

Reed brings nearly 20 years of experience to the position and has been with Beazley since 1999 as manager of corporate services, which included managing the company’s home warranty program. She is versed in all aspects of the industry, on both the agent and corporate levels, and is a Residential and Corporate Relocation Specialist and Beazley Customer Service certified.
