The New Homes Division of William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services was recognized by the Home Builders Association of Connecticut earlier this month for its innovative sales and marketing efforts.
John Tarducci, senior vice president, and Susan Eastman of William Raveis’ New Homes Division, accepted the award for Best Marketing Program for a Builder in Connecticut during a ceremony at the Aqua Turf that was attended by more than 550 Connecticut homebuilders, remodelers and housing industry professionals. The award was given based on the company’s promotional work to market Buckingham in Avon, a 160-acre planned community in Avon that includes both traditional single-family homes and maintenance-free condominiums for active adults ages 55 and up.
“We received several hundred nominations for this award,” said Joanne Carroll, chairman of the HOBI awards program. “Each was judged based on their creativity and success in the marketplace. The Buckingham in Avon program was a very creative and nontraditional approach to gain broker interest in the development and it proved very successful.”
“We’re honored to receive this award,” said Tarducci. “It reflects the imagination and hard work of Buckingham in Avon’s sales director, Susan Eastman.”
Sales have been brisk since construction began in the fall of 2002, and the community has proven especially attractive to young professionals, Eastman noted.
The New Homes Division of William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services continues to build on a 23-year track record providing marketing, sales and consulting services to developers, builders, investors and financial institutions. It specializes in identifying profitable business opportunities through land and development research. The division has won awards in every available category from the Homebuilders Association of Connecticut, including those for achievements in marketing, developments and sales collateral.
