Cendant Mobility, Danbury

The Connecticut Quality Improvement Award partnership awarded Danbury-based Cendant Mobility a record number of 28 awards for its work in the past year to improve service to its clients at the CQIA’s recent 16th Annual Conference, which was held at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket.

Cendant was recognized in the areas of eBusiness, information technology, broker services, global supplier relations, marketing, human resources, operations, finance and accounting, and property evaluation.

“These awards clearly are the best proof of our ability to consistently seek opportunities to enhance and improve daily processes that will ultimately benefit our clients,” said Cendant President and Chief Executive Officer Kevin J. Kelleher. “We are thrilled to receive an unprecedented number of CQIA awards this year, and I congratulate and thank those employees who played an instrumental role in our selection.”

Since 1995, Cendant has been awarded a total of 143 silver and gold awards for its applications. This year also marks a continuation of its trend in receiving the highest number of awards of any organization in Connecticut.

Using the same performance excellence criteria set by the National Institute for Standards and Technology for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the Connecticut Quality Improvement Award partnership honors organizations in an effort to advance innovative workforce solutions that improve quality, performance and marketplace competitiveness.
