The membership of the Commercial/Investment Division of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors has announced that Joel Galvin of North Haven-based H. Real Estate Pearce Co. will be at the reigns of the CID in 2004. He will head up one of the state’s most active groups of commercial real estate brokers and agents.
Galvin has been a Realtor for 15 years, specializing in the sales and leasing of office, industrial/commercial and investment properties in the New Haven County and eastern shoreline areas. He also acts as a representative for buyers and tenants throughout the state. A consistent member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club, he has been inducted into H. Pearce’s President’s Circle. Galvin is active with the New Haven Chamber of Commerce and is a longtime member and past president of the Guilford Rotary Club, where he currently serves as a board member.
At this year’s installation and awards dinner, among other award winners, Galvin earned the award for Deal of the Year in the Sale/Leaseback category with a transaction valued over $5 million.
The CID is composed of numerous commercial brokers and agents who meet monthly to network and have marketing sessions to promote current commercial listings. Those individuals cooperate with one another for the betterment of their clients, their firms and the area’s commercial real estate industry. Mayors, first selectmen, other municipal officials and developers are among those who attend the monthly meetings, which are usually held at a currently listed commercial property in the area.
