Kathy Sharon

Kathy Sharon and Mary Jane Kelsey have joined North Haven-based H. Pearce Real Estate Co. as residential sales associates.Sharon, who will work in the company’s Guildford office, is originally from New York City and recently moved to Guildford. She has a bachelor of fine arts degree in painting and a macrobiotic certificate in cooking. Besides working as a children’s clothing designer, Sharon had a career in advertising before entering the real estate profession. Before joining H. Pearce, she worked at Brooklyn Bridge Realty in New York.

Sharon also is a private chef and has opened a bed and breakfast in Guilford. She is a member of its Chamber of Commerce and has a daughter who attends graduate school in Boston.

Kelsey, who will join the company’s New Haven office, is a native of New Haven and a 30-year resident of Branford. She is a graduate of the University of New Haven and continued her education at Southern Connecticut State University and Albertus Magnus College where she received a bachelor of arts degree.

Before joining H. Pearce, Kelsey worked at the Yale Law School for 31 years where she managed the Technical Services Division. She also spent two years as chief of the library’s administrative services and one year as a weekend circulation librarian at Yale.

Kelsey is active in library professional organizations, where she is a frequent speaker and has held leadership positions. She has also received an award from Beta Phi Mu, which is the national librarianship honor society.

Kelsey lives with her husband and two sons.
