Clif Freedman

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut/Westchester, N.Y., has named Clif Freedman as its director of education. Freedman will oversee a broad range of educational initiatives, including Coldwell Banker’s Fast Start program, which provides training to real estate associates and managers in the areas of buyer/seller services, marketing strategies and technological advancements.

Under Freedman’s direction, new programs slated for fall 2004 include a management apprentice series and integrity coaching.

Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut/Westchester, Freedman was a sales associate with William Raveis Real Estate in Fairfield. He also served as director and instructor for the Metropolitan Real Estate School.

Freedman currently holds the position of adjunct professor of real estate for Fairfield University. He plays an active role in the Fairfield community and is involved with several associations including Kiwanis International, Fairfield County Children’s Choir, parent-teacher associations and The Kennedy Center in Trumbull. He is a former member of the Fairfield Board of Education.

Freedman earned a master of science degree in reading from The College of New Rochelle and a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy and speech from New York University. He is a strong advocate of public education and in his new position keeps current on important local/national real estate and educational issues.

He is a certified education administrator and is licensed as a teacher, administrator, reading teacher and language arts coordinator in New York and Connecticut. Freedman is also certified as a real estate salesman in Connecticut. He resides in Fairfield.
