Prudential Connecticut Realty Chief Operating Officer Candace Adams was recently appointed president of the company

In 2004, under her leadership, Prudential Connecticut Realty experienced a 26 percent increase in sales, resulting in its most successful year ever.

“Candace has demonstrated a commitment to excellence since she joined Prudential Connecticut Realty over 10 years ago,” said Chief Executive Officer Peter Helie. “She understands our organizational goals and is the perfect person to lead us into the future.”

Adams has more than 20 years of real estate experience. Since joining Prudential Connecticut Realty more than 10 years ago, she led her sales office to the No. 1 position in the region and increased its sales volume to the highest on record.

She was awarded with firm’s Leader of the Year award in 1998 and was promoted to vice president of operations overseeing the Southwest region. Last December, Adams became the firm’s chief operating officer, in addition to having the role of overseeing the Fairfield County sales operation. As president of the statewide company, she is responsible for the sales and operations of Prudential Connecticut Realty’s 40 sales offices, 1,375 sales executives and the Family of Services business units.
