Mari Burke
Mari Burke has joined the Guilford office of Page-Taft Real Estate. The announcement was made by Karen Stephens, owner of the firm.
“Mari brings a wealth of experience to Page-Taft, having been a licensed Realtor since 1983,” noted Stephens. “Her clients quickly come to appreciate her wonderful sense of humor as she helps them to navigate through the many details involved in buying or selling a home.”
Stephens added that Burke is energetic, motivated, and results-oriented with a wealth of knowledge developed from many years of work experience in the high technology and real estate fields, as well as a strong negotiator who can view situations through the eyes of both buyer and seller. Most recently, she was recognized for the highest gross closed commissions at an award-winning international real estate franchise.
Burke received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Providence College and a Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University. In addition, she studied at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. While there, she traveled extensively throughout Western Europe, which fostered her appreciation of architecture.
She acquired the Certified Buyer Representative designation in 2003 and actively pursues any continuing education courses that are relevant to her business.
Burke lives in Guilford with her husband, Paul Doolan, and their two children.
Burke is a member of the Guilford Lakes and Baldwin School PTOs and a literacy volunteer at the Guilford Lakes Elementary School where she also taught an enrichment course in engineering and architecture.
