Mary Ann Batsell, a broker from the Westport office of Country Living Assoc., was the recent recipient of the company’s monthly top producer award. Batsell also received the President’s Silver Circle award at Country Living’s most recent awards ceremony. Members of the Silver Circle are associates who achieve a sales volume between $4 million and $7 million in the sales year.
In addition, Batsell received the award for the No. 1 outstanding relocation specialist in the entire company, having successfully relocated the greatest number of transferees.
Country Living Assoc. is a full-service residential real estate firm, with 180 sales associates in six offices serving 12 communities in lower Fairfield County. The firm has sales offices in Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Stamford, Westport and Wilton, as well as corporate relocation services in Norwalk.
Nerreau Joins Prudential
Fairfield resident and Realtor Shari Nerreau has joined the Fairfield office of Prudential Connecticut Realty.
“Shari’s background in sales and her natural ability to build relationships and network will be a great asset to her as she grows her business,” said Fairfield Office Leader Melissa Riley.
Prior to joining Prudential, Nerreau was a well-known portrait and special-event photographer in the Fairfield area who operated under the business name Photography by Shari. She also worked in sales in Manhattan, N.Y., for about six years.
“Real estate has been a long-held interest of mine,” Nerreau said.
Nerreau, who describes her work style as consultative, added that she’s confident she can provide the same stellar service as a real estate sales professional that she did as a photographer.
Nerreau covers the communities of Fairfield, Easton and Westport, with a special emphasis on Fairfield.
Nerreau is a high school youth group advisor at Congregation B’nai Israel in Bridgeport. She also cooks meals for Operation Hope in Fairfield and serves on the PTA of Burr Elementary School.
An 11-year resident of Fairfield, she works with both homebuyers and sellers. She is a member of the Fairfield Board of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.
Nerreau earned a bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College and completed coursework at the Germane School of Photography in Manhattan. She makes her home in Fairfield with her husband Brian and their three children, Brad, Jason and Meredith.

Sales Center Opens
Poet’s Landing Condominium & Marina, the only new luxury condominium community located directly on Candlewood Lake in Danbury, recently opened its sales center, unveiling the new upscale lakeside development.
The condo community is scheduled for occupancy in late summer and has 88 luxury residences, most of which offer lake views and a host of amenities traditionally reserved for Five-Star hotels.
