Gregg Wagner

Gregg Wagner has been appointed vice president of operations for the Shoreline region of Rocky Hill-based Prudential Connecticut Realty. Wagner will be responsible for day-to-day operations, recruiting and training for the region that encompasses Prudential Connecticut Realty offices from Watch Hill, R.I., to Branford. He also will lead the New Homes and Land Division, evaluating and marketing land and subdivision assets in Middlesex and New London counties.

Wagner’s 18 years of real estate experience includes sales, investment research, residential development, asset management, and managerial experience in commercial and residential brokerage.

“For the last two-and-a-half years, Gregg has successfully grown the Old Saybrook and Essex offices through his exemplary leadership and commitment to the Vision and Service Standards that Prudential stands by,” said Candace Adams, president of Prudential Connecticut Realty. “We are thrilled to appoint Gregg to lead the Shoreline region and plan to continue to grow our business in that section of Connecticut.”

Wagner is an active member of several professional organizations including the National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, Real Estate Buyers Agent Council, Home Builders Association of Hartford County, Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, Senior Real Estate Specialists and Connecticut Commercial Investment Division.

Jacobson Is Top Producer

Susan Jacobson of the Guilford office of H. Pearce Real Estate Co. was the company’s top producer for the second quarter of 2006. Jacobson topped the company’s more than 150 residential and commercial sales associates based on commission earnings.

Finishing second among all active associates was Chris Nolan of the Commercial North Haven office. Nolan was followed in the top five by JoAnn Stirling of the Madison office, Peter Brown of the Commercial North Haven office and Ray Baldelli of the New Haven office.

Rounding out the top 10 for the second quarter of 2006 were Wojtek Borowski of the New Haven office, Vin Masotta of the Wallingford office, Phil Barber of the Commercial North Haven office, Debbie Citelli-Robinson of the Guilford office and Sue Popplewell of the Guilford office.

Weichert Wins Award

New Jersey-based Weichert, Realtors, which has offices in Connecticut, recently won an award from a national online learning company for the highest number of course completions among that company’s clients.

Weichert won the Empowerment Award for the highest course completions from Learn.com, the worldwide leader for proven on-demand learning automation software and services. Learn.com provides Weichert with capabilities for delivering online courses, or eLearning, to sales associates and employees from Weichert’s internal Web site.

Weichert released a statement saying that experienced and new sales associates and company employees have now completed nearly 85,000 online training courses, with most agents completing several courses.

“When we train our associates effectively, that translates into better service for our customers – the core Weichert philosophy,” said Mary Banen, vice president of training and development at Weichert, Realtors. “Our focus on education and continuous learning for our people results in better overall service to our customers.”
