Christopher Tymniak, a Fairfield Realtor and lifelong area resident, has joined the Fairfield office of Prudential Connecticut Realty.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Chris,” said Fairfield office leader Melissa Riley. “As a lifelong Fairfield County resident who prides himself on being active in the community, he has a lot to offer our past and future Prudential clients.”
Tymniak has worked for the past four years with the state Senate and as a legislative aide to state Sen. Judith G. Freedman.
“While I’ll work with buyers and sellers in all price ranges, I believe that young professionals in particular represent an unmet market niche in Fairfield County,” Tymniak said.
“Housing prices here are now seven times that of the median income,” he added. “So for young professionals who may not have had time to build a solid credit history, it can be tough buying that first house. I can sympathize with that dilemma and I hope to help them – and everyone else who comes to me for help – successfully navigate the Fairfield County housing market.”
Tymniak is a member of the Fairfield County Board of Realtors, the Connecticut Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. His plan is to serve communities throughout lower Fairfield County.
Tymniak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Springfield College in Massachusetts. He currently makes his home in Stratford with his wife Nicole.

Page-Taft Hires Baraket
Paula Baraket has joined Page-Taft GMAC Real Estate’s Guilford office.
“Paula’s experience in the financial industry and her ability to connect with people is a great asset to her clients and to Page-Taft GMAC,” said Karen Stephens, owner of the company.
Stephen said Baraket’s 30-year background in the banking and brokerage industries has given her a tremendous ability to work with clients in a setting where relationships based on trust are critical, adding that Baraket’s desire to leave the corporate world, yet still do what she’s done all her life – work with clients – has led her to her current career in real estate.
Baraket spent several years commuting to Manhattan, N.Y., from her Connecticut summer home before decided to relocate permanently to Guilford. She is a member of the Guilford Newcomers and the Guilford Civic Women. In her spare time, she enjoys watching films, entertaining, opera and many other kinds of music.
