Patricia Kale

Patricia Kale recently joined the Duxbury, Mass., office of Connecticut-based William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services after obtaining her Massachusetts real estate license and completing extensive real estate training.

Kale is a former public relations executive with Kaufman Assoc. in Boston and brings more than a decade of communications experience to the position. She has been active in numerous community activities including the Massachusetts Audubon Society and the Garden Club of Duxbury.

A resident of Duxbury for 22 years, she lives with her husband, Frank, and son, Nicholas.

William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services is New England’s largest family-owned real estate company and the seventh-largest real estate company in the nation.

Weichert Wins Award

Morris Plains, N.J.-based Weichert, Realtors, which has offices in Connecticut, recently won an award from a national online learning company for the highest number of course completions among that company’s clients.

Weichert won the Empowerment Award for the highest course completions from Learn.com, a worldwide leader for on-demand learning automation software and services. Learn.com provides Weichert with capabilities for delivering online courses, or eLearning, to sales associates and employees via Weichert’s internal Web site.

Experienced and new sales associates and Weichert company employees have now completed nearly 85,000 online training courses, with most agents completing several courses.

Weichert currently offers about 30 real estate-specific online courses, in addition to Microsoft Office and other technology courses, to help sales associates in company-owned and franchise offices improve their skills and make optimal use of their time. Weichert also provides additional online resources for sales office managers.

Weichert’s eLearning courses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through an internal Web site, and they supplement classroom training at Weichert’s headquarters campus and regional training facilities, the company said. New sales associates attend an intensive three-week training session, where they learn Weichert business methods. In addition, the company’s Mentor Program teams each new sales associate with an experienced sales associate “mentor” for guidance.
