
Jane von Holzhausen
Prudential Connecticut Realty has promoted Jane von Holzhausen to the position of vice president of operations for the southwest region.
In her new role, von Holzhausen will be responsible for day-to-day operations, recruiting and training for the offices that comprise the southwest region of the state.
She began her real estate career in 1983 and previously owned an award-winning, three-office firm, which merged with Prudential Connecticut Realty in 1998.
She continued as leader of the company’s Avon office for several years. During that time, she was honored with the company’s Leader of the Year Award, given to the employee who demonstrates excellence in sales and leadership and plays an active role in the community.
“Jane’s commitment to our company values and vision, as well as her dedication to lead with integrity, have earned her tremendous respect and great success in the industry,” said Candace Adams, Prudential’s president. “We are delighted to welcome her back to our team in her new role.”
During her real estate career, von Holzhausen served as a director for the Connecticut Association of Realtors and the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors. She was chairman of the Regional Multiple Listing Service and continues to be active on the association’s professional standards committee.
Goodfellow Opens Office
ERA Goodfellow Homes recently opened a new office in Danbury and announced the company’s new sales team members.
The office, located at 26 Mill Plain Road, is the company’s third in the area.
“Strategically, the Danbury market is key to our continued growth,” said owners Scott Cooney and Todd Payne in a press release. “It has always been our intention to open a Danbury location to better serve our clients and complement our sales teams in New Milford and Bethel.”
ERA Goodfellow Homes has added 21 agents, including Martha Blanchette, Leslie Brent, Paul Burns, John DeBenedetto, Lisa Durba, Pat Fusco, Brenda Gilbert, Ken Hostetler, Asma Husain, Yvonne LeFebvre, Fernanda Lopes, Sami Madkour, Pam McHenry, Kelly Melanophy, Regina Mucci, Arleen Norton, Patsy Rapela, Barbara Roper, Marion Smith, Connie Strait and Alison Zanine, all previously employed by Coldwell Banker.
Committee Appoints Davis
Vinni Davis, an agent in the Guilford office of Page Taft GMAC, has been appointed to the 2007 Legislative Committee for the Connecticut Association of Realtors.
Some of the issues the committee will be addressing in the upcoming months include property conveyance taxes, limiting eminent domain power to protect private property rights, promotion of affordable property owners’ insurance in coastal areas and lead paint laws.
Davis, who is currently pursuing an Accredited Buyer Representative designation, has been a Realtor for the past seven years.
