Liberty Bank has purchased a new office in Middletown.

The bank acquired an 85,000-square-foot office building on 23 acres at 245 Long Hill Road.

“Liberty Bank has grown in the last eight years and most recently by a leap with our acquisition of Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan,” Liberty Bank President and CEO Chandler J. Howard said in a statement. “We view this purchase as an investment in our future and in our community. It is unknown at this time exactly who will occupy the facility and when, but we do know we are absolutely committed to maintaining a strong and visible presence on Main Street, Middletown.”
