Chrysalis Center Real Estate Corp. recently purchased a vacant parcel of land in New Britain.
The company purchased the 0.16-acre site at 30 South High St. for $48,000, which had been sitting vacant for decades as a dilapidated parking lot. Chrysalis plans to scrap the site and build a new parking lot to accommodate residents at its newly-purchased neighboring building at 57 Court St. The former apartment building will be renovated to contain 24 one-bedroom units, with a projected cost of $6 million.
Eric Amodio of Amodio & Co. represented the seller, DIMS LLC, and Vance Taylor of Commercial Real Estate Group represented the buyer.
