Robin DiNicola, Simsbury Bank’s vice president and senior market manager for the Avon and Canton markets, has received the Loren Bristol Spirit Award from the Avon Chamber of Commerce.

The award is presented annually in memory of Loren Bristol to a current member of the chamber who demonstrates devotion to their family, commitment to bettering the community and dedication to business.

“Robin DiNicola has volunteered for charity organizations such as the Salvation Army, Autism Speaks, Special Olympics and Juvenile Diabetes, to name only a few. She has served on many committees and boards of directors, including our own chamber,” Chamber member Peg Mayer of Howard L. Page & Co. said in a statement. ”While maintaining a successful career in the banking and finance world, and with a busy family, she makes time for Sunday school teaching, marathon running and playing hockey. We are honored and privileged to present this award to Robin.”

“I am humbled by this recognition,” DiNicola said in a statement. ”I truly enjoy all aspects of volunteering, draw strength from helping organizations and individuals and strive to be a role model for others including my two young boys.”
