First County Bank Foundation presented Person-to-Person with a $7,500 grant for the scholarship program for first-generation low-income students.

Stamford-based First County Bank Foundation awarded nearly $100,000 to Darien- and Norwalk-based nonprofits providing support for at-risk residents.

Fifteen Norwalk-based nonprofit groups received a total of $82,000 in grants to support, among others, services for children, low-income residents and victims of domestic violence.

Four Darien-based nonprofits received a total of $16,250, including: The Community Fund of Darien for general support; The Andrew Shaw Memorial Trust for STEM summer camp for at-risk children grades one through five; Person to Person to support students from low-income families fulfill their dreams of a college degree via the scholarship program and The Tiny Miracles Foundation for emergency funding to economically distressed parents of premature babies.
