Branford Retail Tenant Doubles Footprint, Renews Lease

A Branford retail center has seen a key tenant expand their footprint by 50 percent while singing a long-term renewal on their lease.

Goodwill of Southern New England renewed their existing 11,400 square feet and also expanded into another 6,500 square feet for a total of 17,900 square feet within the Lakeview Center at 249 West Main St., Branford. Goodwill has occupied their space in the Lakeview Center since 2012.

Toby Brimberg and Phil Marshall of O,R&L Commercial in Branford represented the landlord, DeLaurentis Management Corp., and Toby Brimberg represented Goodwill of Southern New England.

During Covid-19, Goodwill of Southern New England has been working on the build-out for the newly expanded space. The store is scheduled to reopen for business the first week in July, 2020.
