The recent acquisition of five CBRE | Heery design studios is giving Glastonbury-based architects S/L/A/M Collaborative an opportunity to expand its landscape architecture business in the Rocky Mountain region.

Jessica Petro, a SLAM landscape architect and project manager, is relocating from Connecticut to lead the expansion of the SLAM Landscape Architecture & Planning Studio (LA&P) at 1900 Grant St. in Denver with support from Adam Loughrey, a SLAM landscape designer.

In March, SLAM acquired five CBRE | Heery architectural design studios, including the Denver office, expanding its nationwide footprint to nine offices. Petro, whose specialties includes landscape architecture and education, will augment the Denver office’s existing focus on health care and corporate markets. LA&P will provide design, master planning services and regulatory approval consulting services.
