A digital marketing company is taking up residence in a former furniture store in Cheshire following the property’s sale last month.

Rebel Interactive Group, a Southington-based subsidiary of JAB Partners LLC, will move to 535 West Main St. in Cheshire following JAB’s purchase of the property from a local landowner in mid-December. The property traded hands for $1.2 million, according to a deed filed with the town clerk’s office.

The 25,000-square-foot former furniture store on 1.61 acres will be converted into office space for 40 to 50 people according to Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services. The brokerage’s Stephen Press represented the seller. Bria Durant of ReMax Alliance represented the buyer.
