A brand-new townhouse rental community in the growing New London region has sold for $30 million.
Chozick Realty represented the developer of the 102-unit Pleasant View Estates, with the transaction triggered upon the builder achieving stabilized occupancy.
In a press release announcing the sale, Chozick described the building as “class A multifamily construction with open-concept layouts, high-end finishes, and an array of amenities to cater to the needs of today’s discerning renters.”
The unit mix was 62 two-bedroom, two-bath townhouses of 1,036 square feet and 40 three-bedroom two-and-a-half bath townhouses ranging from 1,363 square feet to 1,693 square feet.
The property sits just outside Griswold’s Jewett City village center and is around 15 minutes from both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun resort casinos and 30 minutes from the Electric Boat shipyard in Groton – the region’s three biggest employers.
