New York City-based business law firm Falcon Rappaport & Berkman will merge with estate planning and commercial litigation law firm Hollis Laidlaw & Simon, expanding FRB’s service area in Westchester County.

“I am delighted about this merger with FRB,” Moira Laidlaw, co-managing partner of HLS, said in a statement. “Our dedication to exceptional client service aligns seamlessly with FRB’s values. Together, we look forward to forging stronger client relationships and delivering innovative solutions that safeguard our clients’ legacies for generations to come.”

Laidlaw will join FRB as co-chair of the firm’s estate planning practice group. HLS co-managing partner David Simon joins as co-chair of the litigation and dispute resolution practice group.

New offices will open in Mount Kisco and Stamford; FRB will also adopt former HLS satellite offices in White Plains, Harrison and Rockland County.
