Connecticut’s statewide Realtor association named a Middletown real estate agent as its top member of the year Wednesday.
CT Realtors honored Huntsman Meade & Partners agent David Gallitto as its 2024 Realtor of the year.
The annual award recognizes an association member for “outstanding effort,” as well as community service and contributions to the real estate industry and the CT Realtors organization, the group said.
“I am completely honored and humbled. The best compliment you can get is to be recognized by your peers,” Gallitto said in a statement. “To have that happen to me really puts a cap on a lot of the work I achieved as president of CT Realtors last year and everything I continue to do this year. I couldn’t be more honored.”
Gallito is currently on the CT Realtors board as immediate past president and was previously the 2016 New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors president and its 2013 regional Realtor of the year. He’s been a realtor for 20 years.
“David’s passion and commitment to his fellow Realtors and his community are unmatched. His leadership over the past two years has helped me and all our colleagues continue to grow and be advocates for property owners in the state,” President Carl Lantz said in a statement.
