A new study from listings portal Zillow has sought to quantify the effects of a decade or more of under-building in the nation’s housing markets by estimating how many families are doubled-up – or worse – in apartments.
A Brooklyn buyer paid $10.25 million for seven buildings containing 109 apartments in Hartford, as well as a vacant lot.
Hartford rents are on the rise. Currently, median rents in Hartford stand at $846 for a one-bedroom apartment and $1,059 for a two-bedroom.
