Jewett City Savings Bank’s charitable foundation recently awarded grants on behalf of Kevin Merchant, the bank’s recently retired president and CEO, and Louis J. Demicco Jr., the former board chair.
Jewett City Savings Bank’s charitable foundation has awarded $4,750 in grants to four organizations dedicated to supporting arts and culture, as well as youth services.
The charitable foundation for Jewett City Savings Bank has awarded $13,000 to six local food pantries. The funding from the grants will allow pantries to purchase food and supplies to support the needs of the families and individuals in our communities, the bank said in a statement.
The Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation has awarded $28,700 in grants to 27 emergency service organizations.
