A 25,777-square-foot building in Cheshire has been acquired for conversion into an urgent care medical facility.

The office building at 1154 Highland Ave., known as “Cheshire Hall,” was purchased for $2.34 million by Atlanta-based real estate investment firm RPG Holdings LLC.

The three-story building was originally constructed in 2004 for use by a telecommunications company by the seller, Marshall Enterprises LLC, and currently is home to software company Datalytics Technologies, which occupies 50 percent of the facility.

The new owners have received approval from the town planning and zoning department to convert the entire first floor of the building into medical office space in anticipation of the opening and operating of an urgent care facility.

Dan Garofalo and John Mullin of Reno Properties represented the buyer, while Richard S. Guralnick of O,R&L Commercial represented the seller.
