H. Pearce Co. President and Chief Executive Officer Barbara L. Pearce has announced that Jean Cherni, senior services consultant to the company and founder of Senior Living Solutions, will serve as a group leader for classes in “Improving Your Retirement Lifestyle.”
The workshop series is sponsored by the nonprofit Institute for Learning in Retirement, a membership organization of retirement-age people who share a love of learning.
The three-class workshop, which begins Nov. 6 and ends Nov. 20, will be held at 3 p.m. every subsequent Thursday at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven.
In other H. Pearce news, Sarah Winston recently joined the company’s New Haven office as a residential sales associate. A resident of Hamden, Winston comes to H. Pearce with more than 25 years of real estate experience. She began her career in real estate sales and marketing back in 1975. In addition, Winston is a former secondary school teacher and she is a graduate of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill.
Among her many designations, Winston holds the accredited Graduate of Realtors Institute and Accredited Buyers Representative designations. She is also a member of the New Haven Colony Historical Society, the North End Club, the English Speaking Union, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Alliance Francaise and the New Haven Preservation Trust.
“I have been awarded repeatedly throughout the year for outstanding customer service,” she said. “My goal has always been to give full attention to the needs of the clients and try to ‘see the world’ through their eyes, giving them the careful guidance and assistance to help them fulfill their goals and aspirations.”
