H. Pearce Co. President and Chief Executive Officer Barbara L. Pearce recently announced that her company has expanded its services to senior citizens with the launch of the H. Pearce Senior Services Program.
The company’s Corporate Services Division developed the program, which specifically addresses the needs of seniors. Utilizing the experience of the Relocation Division, the program is administered by counselors who serve as a single point of contact for both seniors and retirement communities.
Jean Cherni, the owner of Senior Living Solutions, serves as consultant to the company, offering in-house training, providing counseling services and sharing her expertise and years of experience in this field. In addition, H. Pearce partners with experts who specialize in various areas including senior law, senior financial issues and retirement communities.
A training program is now under way to help the company’s “senior specialists” to understand the needs of their target market. With a class called “Senior Speak,” they will be better informed about the things that are important to that population and about the many difficult choices they have to make.
In addition, the company has developed a Senior Resource Guidebook that is made available to all clients who qualify for the program. “Moving Made Easy for Seniors” is provided to help them during the decision-making process and beyond.
Barbara L. Pearce said as the company continues to market to senior communities and to the public at large, it looks forward to delivering the specialized services that will enable the population to deal with the stressful decision-making process of determining where to go and when to sell.
All of the services and products are offered through the firm’s Corporate Services Division.
Also at H. Pearce, Frank and Carol Ann Dahlmeyer have joined the company’s Branford office as residential sales associates.
The Dahlmeyers, who are residents of East Haven, have more than 10 years of experience owning their own business, specializing in automotives. In addition, they have prior real estate experience, having purchased four houses, selling one and renting two vacation properties.
In the community, Carol Ann is a religious education teacher at Our Lady of Pompeii and she and Frank are members of the Appalachian Mountain Club. Frank is also a member of the Meriden Ski Club and the Ragged Mountain Foundation. Carol Ann has lived in the area for more 16 years, while Frank has for more than 38 years.
