Officials cut the ribbon at Beazley Co.’s new Bristol office.

New Haven-based Beazley Co. has opened a new office in Bristol. The office, which will be managed by Dick Gumpert, is meant to strengthen the company’s presence in Hartford County.

The grand opening celebration took place on June 30 at the 123 Middle St. office. In Hartford County, Beazley also has offices in West Hartford, Windsor and Berlin. Beazley has a total of 25 offices throughout the state.

“We are very excited about the opening of our Bristol office, as it is part of our long-range plans for growth and expansion,” said company President Greg Scott.

But while expansion is a part of Beazley’s business plan, Beazley’s philosophy is different from that of most large real estate companies.

“Beazley focuses on being a hometown real estate agency with full agency services,” Gumpert said. “Bristol residents will benefit from Beazley’s ‘big company’ services, while still getting the personalized service of a hometown agency.”
