Pearce Presents at Meeting

Barbara Pearce, president and chief executive officer of North Haven-based H. Pearce Company Realtors, was a presenter at the 2005 Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (formerly RELO) regional meeting held in New York City on Sept. 8. The meeting attracted 200 brokers and relocation professionals from across the region and country.

Pearce presented information on “Profitability in Boom or Bust,” a topic of interest to many real estate and relocation professionals.

The conference theme “In Good Company” was meant to signify the quality and professionalism of the network’s 650 affiliates whose combined sales volume over $380 billion exceeds any single national brand. The theme also underscored the recent name change from RELO to Leading Real Estate Companies of the World to more accurately reflect the network’s role as a major player in the world of residential real estate.

The meeting featured timely educational workshops, brainstorming sessions and networking opportunities in addition to a keynote address by professional speaker and trainer Petey Parker entitled “Raise the Bar, Set the Standard.”
