Eileen Hollerbach of Bethel has been chosen as the 2005 recipient of Project Restoration, a service provided by Scalzo Group Real Estate Services in Danbury. Hollerbach, a single mother of three, has worked hard to support her family and keep up with the maintenance on her home, which is over 40 years old.
With electrical problems, mold issues and roof repairs desperately needed, Hollerbach submitted an application to be considered for Project Restoration. Paul Scalzo, president of the company, and his steering committee visited her home to tell her she had been chosen.
“I am so shocked. This is just too wonderful to ever imagine could happen to my family,” she said.
“The goal of Project Restoration is to renovate homes and rebuild lives for those who truly are in need and to give back to the communities we serve,” Scalzo said. “Our companies and employees know the value of a good quality home and the impact that it has on a family in helping to support a stable and positive lifestyle. We can think of no better way to provide a bright future for the Hollerbach family than to renovate their home to improve their quality of life.” Renovations are scheduled to take place in October.
