William Raveis Hires Doonan
Longtime Realtor Phyllis Doonan has joined the Stamford sales office of William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services.
Doonan said she found William Raveis’ status as a family-owned business an appealing attribute and one of the reasons she chose to affiliate herself with the firm.
Doonan, who built her business around the phrase, “The matchmaker Â… matching homes with families and families with homes,” said she and William Raveis share similar ideals.
“Real estate sales will always require the personal touch,” Doonan noted. “William Raveis offers an independent edge in a field that requires both personal rapport and professional talent to secure both local and global real estate solutions for our clients.”
Doonan consistently ranked as a top producer at the brokerage with which she was previously affiliated, earning status as the top agent quarterly of her company in 2005 based on sales volume and units closed. She was also named to the Chairman’s Club and awarded a Platinum Star. In 2003 and 2004, she ranked as the No. 1 sales agent in her company out of 18 offices and more than 650 agents (based on both dollar volume and units sold in 2004 and on units sold in 2003), and from 1998 through 2002, she ranked among the top three agents in her company based on sales volume and closed units.
Doonan, who holds educational designations as a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, a Certified Residential Specialist and a Certified Real Estate Appraiser, serves both homebuyers and sellers throughout Fairfield County.
She is a relocation expert for clients moving domestically and abroad. She works with first-time homebuyers, renters, commercial developments and condominiums as well as buyers and sellers of luxury homes and waterfront properties. A longtime Stamford resident, Doonan makes her home there with her husband, Kevin. The couple has three children, one of whom, Denise, works alongside her mother.
William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services is the largest family-owned real estate brokerage in New England, with a $4.3 billion sales volume in 2004.
