Simon FitzPatrick
Prudential Connecticut Realtor Simon FitzPatrick has relocated his real estate business to Prudential’s Fairfield branch.
Formerly affiliated with the firm’s New Canaan office, FitzPatrick has chosen to focus his “Welcome Home” marketing efforts on the Fairfield area.
A Fairfield County resident since 1985, FitzPatrick intends to leverage more than 20 years of international business experience into his real estate work.
His diverse corporate background includes a four-year stint as an investment banker, several senior level positions in human resource management (including work for Mobil Oil and Capital One where he spent time in Europe and Asia) and management consulting for Fortune 500 companies. He has relocated with his employers over 15 times, both domestically and abroad.
As a top producing real estate agent, FitzPatrick has already demonstrated his ability to transfer his corporate skills to his real estate practice.
“By concentrating on a relatively small geographic area and more targeted price points, I can fine-tune my knowledge of specific markets, their valuations and unique attributes,” FitzPatrick said. “The purchase or sale of a home is a very important decision for anyone, whether they’re getting into the market for the first time or upgrading from their current home. I’m in the position to offer buyers and sellers a sophisticated level of service and expertise that will truly be appreciated.”
Fitzpatrick is a member of the Lower Fairfield County Board of Realtors, New Canaan Board of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. He is a founding member of the Weston Entrepreneur’s Club.
Raveis Sponsors Event
Events sponsored by William Raveis Real Estate recently raised more than $275,000 for breast cancer research. The events consisted of a series of four Connecticut wine tastings, Wines and Foods of the World and On Track for a Cure, held at the F-1 Boston area racetrack. These events were underwritten by William Raveis Real Estate, who donates a portion of the company’s side of each commission to this worthwhile cause.
The September and October 2005 events raised funds through live and silent auctions and featured a host of luxury auction items such as furs, jewelry, oriental and eastern rugs and artwork, as well as domestic and overseas getaways and sporting tickets donated by area merchants. Local wine distributors, caterers and restaurants contributed their time, food and refreshments. Additional research funds were raised through the sale of raffle tickets for four grand prize packages, including an all-inclusive seven day Mexican vacation for two, a trip for two to Paris, France, a 50 inch plasma screen television and a custom, handmade wine highboy. Proceeds raised will benefit the Breast Cancer Alliance in Greenwich, Connecticut, the Dana-Farber Women’s Cancers Center in Boston and the Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington. The fund will be administered through William Raveis’ nonprofit foundation, the William Raveis Charitable Fund and the William Raveis Breast Cancer Research Fund.
