Stamford resident Carolyn Hett has joined the Stamford office of Country Living Assoc. as a sales associate.
Hett received her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Albany in Albany, N.Y., where she had the distinction of being on the Dean’s List for five semesters. She also benefited from a semester of study in London. Before joining Country Living Assoc., she was associated with the Oxbow Corp. and worked in computer software.
Hett is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, Multiple Listing Service and Stamford Board of Realtors.
Country Living Assoc. is a full-service residential real estate firm with 170 sales associates in six offices serving 12 communities in lower Fairfield County. The firm has sales offices in Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Stamford, Westport and Wilton, and corporate relocation services in Norwalk.
Lowerson Switches Offices
Realtor Peter Lowerson has teamed up with the Fairfield office of Prudential Connecticut Realty. Lowerson formerly worked at the company’s office in Stratford.
“We’re excited to welcome Peter,” said Fairfield Office Leader Melissa Riley. “While he made a name for himself in our Stratford office, he will now be working from the Fairfield office and focusing on the towns of Stratford, Bridgeport, Fairfield, Westport, Easton and Redding. Peter’s professional background centered on a career in [information technology] and computer systems development and many of his customer service and project management skills will no doubt aid him as he continues to grow his business.”
Lowerson, a native of England, has lived in Fairfield for 25 years. He worked as an IT director of applications development and as project leader in application development process and computer systems development. He traveled extensively throughout South America in his role coordinating global systems integration for a global marketing company and a medical manufacturing company.
According to Lowerson – who studied in England with a concentration in mathematics – heavy client contact, a detailed orientation and communication skills will enhance his work with homebuyers and sellers.
“I enjoy meeting new people and working with them on a one-to-one, personal level,” he said.
Lowerson remains active in his local community, volunteering for Operation Hope in Fairfield and Habitat for Humanity in Stratford.
Day Begins at Coldwell Banker
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage of Connecticut/ Westchester, N.Y., has named Matthew Day as director of Internet strategy for its corporate offices in Danbury.
Due to his outstanding success in applying information technology to real estate sales for Coldwell Banker in New England, Day was recently tapped by Coldwell Banker in Connecticut and Westchester County to helm a new effort in utilizing technology to make the real estate process easier for the buyer, seller and agent.
