Deanna Cocivi has joined the team of Realtors at Century 21 Home Services Scalzo-Gleason Group in Newtown.
Cocivi, who lives in Newtown with her husband Phil and daughters Sara and Caitlin, has over a decade of product-design experience and previously worked for People’s Bank on matters relating to commercial and residential real estate. She is a member of the Newtown Board of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, Consolidated Listing Service and National Association of Realtors.
“We’re excited to have Deanna on our team. Her real estate experience and creative talents will be an asset to our organization,” said Anne Stark, the company’s sales manager.

Prudential Hires Dannenbaum
Debbie Dannenbaum has joined the Westport office of Prudential Connecticut Realty as a sales executive.
“Debbie’s years of experience in the real estate banking business and her understanding of the real estate market have given her tremendous knowledge that will enable her to provide the utmost service to her clients,” said Chris Simmers, leader and vice president of sales at the Westport office. “We are delighted to welcome her as a member of our team, and know that her customers will benefit greatly from her skills and expertise.”
Dannenbaum brings nearly a decade of experience in real estate finance to her new role. For 10 years, she served as a commercial real estate lender in Connecticut and New Jersey for what is now Wachovia Bank, formerly First Fidelity Bank. As vice president, she was responsible for financing construction loans and permanent mortgages ranging in size from $1 million to $30 million for some of the largest developers in Connecticut and New Jersey. She also held the position of vice president for Webster Bank in Stamford.

I have followed the residential real estate market closely for the past 13 years, having purchased three homes and sold two during that time. My understanding of the real estate market and attention to details will serve my clients well.”
Dannenbaum has lived in Weston for the past three years and has been actively involved in the community. She is a member of the Weston Education Foundation and served as a Girl Scout troop leader for three years.
Weichert Hosts Seniors
Weichert Realtors Regional Properties in Orange recently hosted summer events for senior citizens in the communities of Bethany and Orange. Realtors from the company helped serve the guests.
The Bethany Senior Picnic was held at Lakeview Lodge in Bethany. Highlights of the day included warm weather and hot dogs. Jeanne Delvecchio, Bethany senior services director, said she was pleased with the turnout.
The Orange Seniors Summer Cookout was held under the Fairgrounds Pavilion at the High Plains Community Center. The events included grilled food and the sound of Dixieland jazz. Joanne Byrne is the senior services coordinator in Orange.
