
Maria Renaldi
Tricia Reed, vice president and manager of Weichert Realtors Regional Properties’ Hamden office, recently welcomed Maria Renaldi to the growing company as a full-time residential specialist.
Born and raised in Hamden, Renaldi has an intimate knowledge of the residential real estate market in the community and in the surrounding towns. A graduate of Hamden High School, she worked as a licensed hair stylist in the Hamden area for over 20 years prior to her real estate career.
“I have always enjoyed working with people and consider myself a real ‘people person.’ My goal is to provide quality real estate services – reliable, accurate and professional. I am passionate about honesty, integrity and responsiveness to every customer,” said Renaldi.

Renaldi lives in Hamden with her husband, two teenage daughters and three dogs.
C21 Wins Award, Names VP
The New Homes Division of Bethel-based Century 21 Home Services-Scalzo Group has been honored with a 2006 Home Builders Association Award (HOBI) for “Best Marketed Attached Community.” The award recognizes the marketing and sales programs developed for the Village at Black Rock, a property located in Black Rock.
Sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Connecticut, the annual HOBIs are considered the state’s most prestigious recognition for outstanding achievement in new construction, remodeling, sales and marketing, and home financing.
In receiving the HOBI, company President Paul Scalzo said, “We are honored to be the recipients of this important award. Our marketing and sales staffs are among the best in the industry and truly deserving of this recognition.”
Century 21 Homes Services-Scalzo Group also recently promoted Anne Stark to vice president, residential sales. In her new role, she will be responsible for the overall management of the firm’s residential real estate offices located in Bethel, Brookfield, New Milford, Newtown and Southbury.
An 11-veteran of the real estate industry, Stark was formerly manager of Century 21 Home Services’ Newtown office and regional director of career development for William Raveis Real Estate. She also has held sales and marketing positions with IBM. A Redding resident, she is a licensed real estate broker and holds a Graduate, Realtors Institute (GRI) designation. Stark is also a member of the National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors and Newtown Board of Realtors.
