Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recently celebrated the official opening of its office at 45 South Main St. in Newtown.
Sales Manager Frank D’Ostilio Jr. was on hand with First Selectman Herb Rosenthal, along with the company’s Newtown sales team, to cut the ribbon that officially declared the consolidation of the company’s two Newtown offices – the former being the Coldwell Banker/Bob Tendler Real Estate Office at 17 Churchill Road – into one location at 45 South Main St.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s corporate offices in Connecticut/Westchester, N.Y., are located at 51-53 Kenosia Ave. in Danbury. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut/Westchester maintains approximately 2,400 sales associates at 55 offices across Connecticut and Westchester County.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is part of NRT Inc., the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage company. Apartment Staffers Named
Two new staffers are adding their talent to the management of Hartford’s Morgan @ The Park and Union Place Apartments.
Candia Kimberly Baptiste, leasing and service coordinator, is a customer-service oriented individual with a bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern Connecticut State University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in management from Albertus Magnus College. A manager of several multifamily units, Candia brings years of real estate and leasing experience to the Morgan team. Born in Trinidad and Tobago but raised in Hartford, Candia said she looks forward to sharing her knowledge of the city with residents.
A second leasing and service coordinator also has been added to the Morgan team. Sekienna Ellis is a 2005 summa cum laude graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing communications. She will be putting her communications and management skills to work for residents of the apartment complexes. Having served as a resident assistant for two years during her college studies, Sekienna brings to Morgan @ The Park and Union Place firsthand experience in dealing with the needs of residents. A resident of Hartford, Sekienna said she is eager to assist residents with their housing needs as well as help them become more familiar with all the city has to offer.
Both women will report to Sheila Dawson, who joined the Morgan @ the Park and Union Place team after serving as property manager for Center Court Apartments and The InfoTech Center in New Haven. Dawson has been with the company managing those buildings for over eight years and is known for her outgoing, customer service-oriented personality and her strong management skills. Born and raised in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, she graduated from the University of New Haven on an academic and athletic scholarship and went on to obtain her Master of Business Administration degree with honors.
