DPM Opens Stanford Office
Diversified Project Management, one of New England’s premier owners’ representative firms providing programming, project management, construction administration, FF&E coordination and move-planning services, has opened a new office in Stamford, expanding the firm’s market reach across Connecticut and New York’s Westchester County.
Diversified Project Management also announced the hiring of Peter Palmisano, a 30-plus-year industry veteran and former president of Stamford-based Project Planning Group, as project executive, who will head the firm’s new Stamford office.
“We’re very excited to establish our new office in Stamford, DPM’s third in New England, and about hiring Peter. Our Stamford office will allow us to extend our services all across Connecticut and Westchester County and serve our clients better,” said Bob Keeley, president of Diversified Project Management.
“We could not have found anyone better than Peter to head this office,” said Chuck Pinckney, president of DPM’s Hartford office. “With an architectural background, Peter focuses on alternative construction methods and value engineering, and actively participates in the management, design and construction of a broad range of projects. In today’s environment where every project is built with equal collaboration from the architect, contractor, subcontractors and owner, Peter’s background and experience will benefit our clients tremendously.”
Prior to joining Diversified Project Management, Palmisano was president of Project Planning Group, where he served as owner representative to clients including Cushman & Wakefield, Getty Petroleum, Xerox Corp. and The Brinks Co. He also managed a design and project management staff at three locations. Previously, he served as manager of design and project management at Xerox and as a project engineer for the United States Air Force.
Palmisano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. He lives in Stamford.
“I’m excited about joining Diversified Project Management and developing our corporate client base in Connecticut’s Fairfield County and Westchester County in New York,” said Palmisano. “DPM has been a pioneer in the project management business in New England, and I’m thrilled to be part of this great team.”
