
770 State St., New Haven
Joel Nesson, senior advisor at Press/Cuozzo Realtors Commercial Services, was the sole agent for a recent deal in New Haven.
Nesson represented both the landlord and the tenant, Pro Style Haircutting Services, in a five-year lease for retail space at 770 State St. The lease was executed at the beginning of March.
Pro Style Haircutting Services relocated to the site from an adjacent building.
Press/Cuozzo Realtors, which has offices at 2751 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden and 975 State St. in New Haven, has been serving the Greater New Haven area since 1990. The company provides residential brokerage, relocation services, as well as the services of a Commercial and Industrial Division.
Peterson Brokers Lease
Choyce Peterson Inc. has negotiated a 9,500-square-foot lease to serve as eNR Services’ new headquarters at 20 Glover Ave. in Norwalk.
A media technology solutions provider, eNR recently relocated from its former 7,000-square-foot headquarters at 301 Merritt 7. Alan Peterson and John Hannigan, principals of tenant representation firm Choyce Peterson, represented eNR Services in its search for space and its lease negotiation. Carl Kuehner, president and chief executive officer of Building and Land Technology, which owns the 20 Glover Ave. building, represented the landlord in the negotiation.
Founded in 1997, Choyce Peterson is a commercial real estate brokerage firm that exclusively represents corporate tenants. The firm, which has offices in Stamford and White Plains, N.Y., has completed millions of square feet of tenant representation transactions in 42 states and Canada.
O,R&L Negotiates Sale
O,R&L Commercial has brokered the sale of a 34,000-square-foot warehouse in West Haven. The building sits on 3.9 acres and is located at 51 Railroad Ave.
Richard Gold and Tim McMahon of O,R&L Commercial represented the seller, International Paper, and procured the buyer, 221 Grand Street LP.
The facility will serve as the new distribution hub for Grand Brass Lamp Parts, which is relocating from Brooklyn, N.Y. Grand Brass has been supplying the lamp and lighting industry since 1913.
O,R&L Commercial has regional offices in Branford and Rocky Hill. The firm sold and leased more than $250 million of commercial real estate in Connecticut in 2006.
CBRE Ranked No. 1
For the fourth year in a row, the trade publication National Real Estate Investor has ranked CB Richard Ellis as No. 1 out of the 25 largest brokerage firms in the world. The ranking, featured in the publication’s April issue, is based on the aggregate value of sales and leasing transactions completed during 2006.
Factoring in 2006 transaction activity for Trammell Crow Co., which CB Richard Ellis acquired in December 2006, CB Richard Ellis was responsible for more than $224.6 billion of global sales and leasing transactions in 2006.
