Stamford investment firm Sorin Capital Management said it has formed a "strategic advisory relationship" with HFF Securities L.P., a subsidiary of HFF Inc., a provider of commercial real estate and capital markets services.
The relationship provides Sorin with access to experienced professionals at HFF Securities for their view of current conditions in the sector. Additionally, with HFF Securities’ national full-service capital markets platform and its extensive industry relationships, Sorin’s investment team will benefit from a broader network and local market knowledge pertinent to the real estate-linked securities in which it invests, according to statement.
"We look forward to a long-term relationship with HFF Securities, a highly regarded firm in the U.S. commercial real estate industry," said Jim Higgins, founder and CEO of Sorin. "As we continually seek to maintain Sorin’s edge as a leading real estate securities investor, we believe HFF’s insight into local markets across the country and ability to provide granular, property-specific information will only strengthen our already robust investment process."
