McCue Mortgage Named Top-Ranking CHFA Lender

New Britain-based McCue Mortgage Co. was ranked the top Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) mortgage lender in 2010.

This is the second consecutive year McCue Mortgage has earned top ranking, according to a statement. In 2010, the company originated 359 CHFA home loans, an increase from its 2009 figure of 321 loans originated.

"Being the top producer of CHFA home loans demonstrates our commitment to helping homebuyers purchase their first home," said William J. McCue, president of the McCue Mortgage Co. "However, just as important is the fact that last year – in 2010 – we helped more people buy their first home than the previous year. It is good to be moving in that direction."
