Wethersfield Office Of TD Insurance Promotes Ford

Shalonta Ford has been promoted to vice president, insurance regional sales specialist in personal lines in the Wethersfield office of TD Insurance Inc., a subsidiary of TD Bank.

The company said Ford will continue to serve as a liaison between TD Insurance and TD Bank’s retail stores in the Connecticut market, providing internal coaching and development to help boost cross-sell and promote TD Insurance products and services.

Ford has 15 years experience in banking and insurance. She joined TD Insurance in 2010 and most recently served as an assistant vice president. Prior to joining TD Insurance, Ford served as a store manager at TD Bank’s Highland-Cheshire location.

A Hamden resident, Ford is a member of the Cheshire Lions Club. She is a 2003 graduate of Albertus Magnus College in New Haven and a 1996 graduate of Hamden High School.
