Nutmeg Financial Makes Cunningham Marketing Officer

Nutmeg Financial, MHC, holding company for Naugatuck Savings Bank and Sutherland Insurance Co., has promoted Marylou Cunningham to marketing officer.

In this role, she is responsible for the daily marketing and advertising functions of Nutmeg Financial, MHC.

"Marylou brings a wealth of marketing knowledge to our organization due to her diverse marketing background" said Craig Porter, vice president and marketing director. "Marylou’s expertise is essential for supporting the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies to improve customer loyalty and strengthen customer relationships through the promotion of products, services and goodwill."

Before her promotion, Cunningham held the position of marketing assistant manager at Nutmeg Financial, MHC. Previously, Cunningham was a marketing manager at Procare USA in Farmington.

She is a recent graduate of the Connecticut Bankers Association School of Finance and Management. She lives in Cheshire.
