El’s Kitchen, a gluten-free snack food manufacturer, has leased 3,000 square feet of flex space at 300 Benton St. in Stratford.

The company agreed to the space after largely outgrowing its existing operations in Weston, according to a statement. Part of the company’s production process is outsourced because of the Weston space limitations. 300 Benton St. will give El’s Kitchen the room to have all its manufacturing and distribution under one roof.

El’s Kitchen said it is planning to be fully operational by the fall.

Jon Angel, president of Fairfield-based Angel Commercial LLC, represented both the tenant – Eleanor "El" Smith – and the landlord in the transaction.

"El wanted to be in Stratford, with easy access to I-95. The 3,000 SF of this 11,184 SF building gives El the room now with the potential for growth in the future," Angel said in a statement.
