New York-based Gaia Real Estate has purchased 163 of 188 total apartment units at the Avon Place residential complex in Avon.
Gaia paid $22.3 million for the majority of the units in the complex. The firm is planning $2 million in renovations to the property, which was built in 1973 as a condominium complex. However, the units are now rented as apartments.
Avon Place includes three residential buildings situated on 46 acres, with a broad amenity package. The three residential buildings each have a central elevator and laundry facility with optional gated storage and parking of over two spaces per unit.
