Simsbury Bank has promoted Joan Beresford and David Donofrio to its executive team.

Beresford has been elected by the board of directors to serve as senior vice president. In this role, Beresford is responsible for all aspects of Simsbury Bank’s loan servicing unit. Beresford joined Simsbury Bank in 2010 and has more than 30 years of experience in residential and commercial loan servicing and collections as well as business process improvement. She is a past president of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association.

Donofrio has been promoted to senior vice president of loan operations. As senior vice president, Donofrio will oversee Simsbury Bank’s mortgage and consumer loan operations and the wholesale origination channel. He will continue to handle his existing mortgage secondary market activities. Previously, he was vice president and secondary market manager for the bank. Donofrio joined Simsbury Bank in 2013 and has more than 20 years of management experience in retail operations, wholesale lending and secondary marketing.
