Simsbury Bank’s Granby branch and Double Dog Delicious LLC are joining forces this month to secure food and fund donations for Waste Not Want Not Community Kitchen.

For every non-perishable item donated to Simsbury Bank’s Granby branch, participants will be given a raffle ticket for a chance to win a basket of goodies for his or her pet from Double Dog Delicious. In addition, Simsbury Bank will donate 25 cents for each canned good received to Waste Not Want Not Community Kitchen to assist those in need this holiday season.

Waste Not Want Not Community Kitchen is a nonprofit grassroots organization that serves a hot meal every Wednesday to anyone in the community. 

 "The team at the Granby branch always strives to do their part – and then a little bit more. It’s great to be able to partner with a wonderful small business such as Double Dog Delicious to be able to give back to those in need in our community," Peter Sepelak, vice president of the Granby branch, said in a statement.
