Duncan Harris, Michael Rice and Brian Baumann have been elected to the board of directors of Windsor Federal Savings Bank.

Harris works as the dean of student affairs and enrollment management at Manchester Community College.

“I grew up in Bloomfield and now reside in Windsor. I find that these are great communities to raise families and that the residents work together to uplift the quality of life of our neighbors. I consider it an honor to serve as a director,” Harris said in a statement.

Michael Rice is managing partner of the law firm Jacobs, Walker, Rice and Barry in Manchester and a member of the Manchester and Connecticut Bar Associations. He has a background in the areas of lending and borrowing, and specializes in corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions.

“Growing up in the Poquonock section of Windsor, my first bank account was with Windsor Federal Savings. It’s a privilege to now be involved with them, and I hope that my knowledge of the corporate side of transactions will be of benefit, as Windsor Federal continues to assist Connecticut businesses with their growth plans” Rice said.

Brian Baumann was the chief financial officer at Brooks Brothers Inc. for 13 years, as part of an overall career there that spanned nearly 30 years.

Baumann has extensive experience in financial modeling, statistics, debt issuance, budgeting and cost control.

“I’m hopeful that my solid working understanding of the intricacies of a business like Brooks Brothers will be of value to the Windsor Federal Board, and I look forward to assisting,” Baumann said.
