Chelsea Groton Bank recently held a ribbon cutting for its new Glastonbury lending center location.

Mary Ellen Dombrowski, president of the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce, welcomed Chelsea Groton to the Glastonbury business community. Michael Rauh, president and CEO of Chelsea Groton Bank, concluded the ceremony with a donation to Theresa Buckson, a Riverfront Community Center outreach social worker and food bank manager, to go toward the Community Center’s food bank fund.

“Chelsea Groton Bank has a rich history of community stewardship in its market areas,” Rauh said in a statement. “In addition to bringing our lending expertise to Hartford County, we look forward to building a relationship with this community, who has already warmly welcomed us. Our inaugural donation to the Riverfront Community Center food bank fund is representative of our commitment to serving the people of Glastonbury.”
