Ion Bank Announces Promotion

Ion Bank has promoted Marcia Arndt to branch operations officer.

In her new role, Arndt will work with branch staff to ensure accurate, proficient and compliant branch procedures to allow for efficient transaction processing and account opening.

Arndt previously worked as administrative assistant branch operations prior to her promotion. Arndt formerly came from First National Bank of New England in Hartford as vice president lending operations.

“Marcia’s extensive experience in retail banking will enable her to educate and coach branch staff ensuring adherence to the procedures,” Dawn Orsini, senior vice president of deposit administration and retail delivery, said in a statement.
